2008 Reunion weekend Here is the text of a letter/email invitation that Rosie Fairclough (m. Haggerty) sent on 15th May. Please let her know whether or not you can go: 12 Broad Elms Lane Glan Y Mor Reunion 11th October 2008 Its time for yet another reunion, though it seems like only yesterday we were recovering from the last one. We are trying to make this one less formal, with more opportunities for chatting and catching up with one another. As for previous weekends, there will be people staying for Friday and Saturday and some just for Saturday. We haven’t finalised plans yet so if you have any ideas please let us know. We’ll definitely include a get together in a bar/pub and also an informal meal on Saturday. There is a rumour of a beach party (just like old times?) During the daytime there will be plenty of time to explore the bay area. It has lots of bars and restaurants to explore as well as the welsh assembly, which can be visited, even by English people. When you can, please let Rosy know your plans just so that we can keep track of numbers. Its easier to do this via email, but phone, letter would do instead. Please watch the website for details as they are finalised, and try and contact other people to make sure they have details and to encourage them to attend. That’s all folks, see you in October. |
